ROLE SUMMARY

BAR U EAT is looking for a Manufacturing Assistant to help with all parts of the energy bar production process, including ingredient preparation, equipment operation, quality control, packaging, and cleaning.

This role is hands-on and detail-oriented. You’ll help make sure every bar meets our quality standards while working safely, efficiently, and as part of a small team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Measure, load, and prepare ingredients according to company recipes and production standards.
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment during mixing, forming, cutting, and packaging.
  • Watch for product consistency, equipment issues, alarms, or malfunctions, and respond appropriately.
  • Move finished products through the production process and prepare them for packaging.
  • Inspect bars for quality, including size, shape, appearance, and consistency.
  • Clean equipment, tools, work areas, and machinery parts according to company sanitation standards.
  • Follow food safety, organic, gluten-free, cleanliness, and quality control procedures at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, packaging, sanitation, assembly, quality control, or general labor is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for a full 6-8hr shift.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and move throughout the shift.

PAY & HOURS

Pay starts at $20/hr with reviews at first 6 months and every 12 months thereafter.
Every Tuesday for 6-8 hours a day.
