ROLE SUMMARY

BAR U EAT is looking for a Manufacturing Assistant to help with all parts of the energy bar production process, including ingredient preparation, equipment operation, quality control, packaging, and cleaning.

This role is hands-on and detail-oriented. You’ll help make sure every bar meets our quality standards while working safely, efficiently, and as part of a small team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Measure, load, and prepare ingredients according to company recipes and production standards.
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment during mixing, forming, cutting, and packaging.
Watch for product consistency, equipment issues, alarms, or malfunctions, and respond appropriately.
Move finished products through the production process and prepare them for packaging.
Inspect bars for quality, including size, shape, appearance, and consistency.
Clean equipment, tools, work areas, and machinery parts according to company sanitation standards.
Follow food safety, organic, gluten-free, cleanliness, and quality control procedures at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, packaging, sanitation, assembly, quality control, or general labor is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail.
Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Basic math skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk for a full 6-8hr shift.
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and move throughout the shift.
