BAR-U-EAT Bars are manufactured at our own facility in Hayden, CO, just outside of Steamboat Springs.
Are your products Organic?
Yes, our bars and facility are certified Organic.
Are your products Non-GMO?
Yes, being organic means we are also Non-GMO.
Are your products gluten-free?
Yes, our bars and facility are certified gluten-free.
Are your products vegan?
Our products contain honey, so they are not considered vegan.

PACKAGING
Is your packaging compostable?
Yes! All BAR-U-EAT bars are sold in compostable packaging. The wrappers are substantiated ASTM D6400 Industrial Compostable. The ink is both home and industrial compostable, certified to the EU standard, EN 13432.
How do I compost BAR-U-EAT packaging?
Our products are certified for commercial composting, which means you can take them to a commercial composting facility or schedule a pickup!
What is your compostable packaging made of?
All our packaging is made from wood cellulose (wood pulp) from FSC-certified, sustainably managed forests
Is your packaging biodegradable?
Yes! Everything that is compostable is technically biodegradable, but not all biodegradable packaging is compostable. BAR-U-EAT packaging is biodegradable because it breaks down naturally. Being compostable means that we adhere to ASTM-D6400 compostability standards (it’ll compost in industrial conditions and will be 100% disintegrated in less than 84 days)...pretty cool!

We ship with UPS and USPS. We offer free shipping on orders over $49.
