BAR-U-EAT Named Recipient of First Packaging Innovation Award by One Step Closer

BAR-U-EAT is thrilled to be selected for the first ever Packaging Innovation Award by One Step Closer, hosted in partnership with Trayak, as a part of the One Step Closer to Zero Waste Packaging Campaign. BAR-U-EAT's plant-based BPI Certified compostable bar wrappers are made from wood pulp from FSC certified sustainably managed forests and corn.

One Step Closer hosted their first ever Packaging Innovation Award in partnership with Trayak as a part of their One Step Closer to Zero Waste Packaging Campaign. There were submissions from companies showcasing amazing innovations such as compostable tea wrappers, biodegradable pill containers, insulation made from coconut husks and more.

BAR-U-EAT is thrilled to be selected as the winner for their commitment to compostable packaging in the granola bar category. BAR-U-EAT's plant-based BPI Certified compostable bar wrappers are made from wood pulp from FSC certified sustainably managed forests and corn.

"The added benefit of using a plant-based compostable package is that when it is properly composted, it will turn into compost which can be used to grow more plants and be truly regenerative to our planet," said Jason, Co-Founder of the company.
